A Better Life - Pet Rescue Inc. helps to promote the adoption of rescued animals through out Central Florida. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance through rehabilitation. Our mission is to save the lives of unwanted companion animals by providing them with medical and hands on care until they are ready for placement in their forever homes. We are committed to raising community awareness through education of responsible pet ownership and improving animal welfare.

We rescue animals from unfortunate environments and place them in foster homes until they are ready for placement into their "forever" home. We work with a few foster homes and could always use more. We are all volunteers who believe that no matter how small a group, you can always make a difference.

Adoption policies:

Check out our animals up for adoption on our page. Please fill out our if you are interested in one of our animals.

If we think you would be a good match for one of our pups, we proceed with a home visit and have interested parties review our adoption guidelines. An adoption contract must be signed before adopting an animal from our rescue. An adoption fee between $75 - $125 is collected to help defray the cost of vet visits, shots, neutering/spaying, food and supplies. Prior to being placed in a new home, each of our animals will be up to date on all shots, on flea preventative, heartworm preventive and are neutered or spayed.

A Better Life - Pet Rescue, Inc reserves the right to decline any application we feel is not a match for our rescue animnals.

Donations:

We are 501 C(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. We will gladly take donations in the form of check, cash, dog food, crates, collars, leashes, treats and any dog toys. Please if you would like to join our foster program. Monetary donations can be sent to:

Foster Program:

We are currently looking for foster homes for our wonderful dogs. A foster home can give a rescued dog the love, attention, affection and socialization he/she needs before they are placed in their forever home. We will provide food, any medication needed and a crate, if necessary. You provide the hugs, walks and good times!
